Handcrafted Log Furniture Log Nightstands and End Tables Handcrafted from white spruce, white cedar or sassafras, these end tables and nightstands will add warmth and beauty to your cozy den or bedroom. They are heavily lacquered for easy cleanup and protection. We use native sassafras limbs for the legs to colorfully contrast the white spruce table tops. We like its burnt orange and dark brown color that compliments a variety of wood furniture and wood floors. The bark is dense and lightly furrowed and won't crack or peel like other barks. Sassafras is also used as trim along the front edges of the shelves and on the drawer pulls. White cedar can also be used for the legs on all of our side tables. It is a very light colored wood with light brown grains and small knots. White spruce will look good in any room, whether its decor is rustic, country, or contemporary. Accent your furniture with keepsakes, relics, or just the latest novel you're reading (they're sure to be noticed) against a nearly white background.
