Old Fly Patterns
of the Appalachians
The fly patterns in this display were
used by the fisherman of the Appalachian region to take trout from its streams
one hundred years ago. My brother and I have used these patterns for 65 years
and they will still take fish. The purpose of this display is to keep and
preserve the Appalachian patterns lest they be lost.
